5th Anniversary Letter

My Dearest Wife,

As a couple we have walked the path of marriage to this destination - our 5th wedding anniversary. Half a decade of marriage - doesn't time fly? In all those years we've experienced quite some times, but everything we've been through has proven our love more and more real. Just like a rain drop falling from the sky, beginning its journey by flowing with the current, its path going through ups and downs until it soaks into the earth where it continuous its journey underground. That's exactly how I'd describe what we have; Cupid's hit us with his love arrow unexpectedly and we've fallen for each other head over heel. Our path has brought us through ups and downs but we kept on going no matter how big the rocks in our way were. When it'll be time for us to leave this world, our love will continuously live on to infinity and beyond underground.

Infinite... Doesn't that have a nice ring to it? I'm loving you so much that I wish time on this world would go on forever. What I know for a fact, though, is that I'll always have you close to me. You're the one person I can always count on. I've put my life into your hands, knowing that there's no better place for it to be and nobody that can care for it as much as you do.

Being with you is like dreaming with my eyes wide open. I'm drawn to you in so many ways that it's hard to focus on anything else. Even after all this time I'm still crazy about you and addicted to you in each and every way. I could spend my days with nothing more but looking at you and listening to that beautiful angel voice of yours. You've put a spell on me when you first entered that chat room and it's never worn off ever since. What makes it so wonderful is that even though I'm aware of that, I don't mind if you put another thousand spells on me. I'm dancing at your fingertips and I enjoy every second of it. I know what I got with you and know that you deserve to be treated like a princess.

A woman's worth is so much more than just looks or how great her curves lie. It's about how she shows her heart and soul and how she presents herself. If all that gets combined and served on a silver platter you know you have something worth much more than you expected.

The time spent on earth is precious and you always got to make the most out of it. I've already made the most out of it by loving and marrying you. There's nothing else I'd rather do than spend my time on this world with you. Our two hearts have melted into one and have not been separated ever since - and never will. When two people like us fit together so perfectly it just has to be right.

So you see, once again I'm trying to say how much I love you but all I'm ending up with is ramblings. How do I put something in words when there aren't any words to describe it? And how would I show you the value of our love when there's not nearly enough money in this world to do that? I didn't really have to think about that for long, because there's only one thing in the universe that can answer all those questions, and that one thing is "love"! Even though I might never be able to fully describe how much I really love you, I will always show you with my love. And even though we'll have enough money to not have to worry about anything one day, there would still never be enough money no matter how much we'd save up or how long we'd live. It's just that simple: Our love is so extremely worthy, special, unique and endless that it's just indescribable. But believe me when I tell you that I'll keep on trying to describe it until I get close to doing so. And even after that I'll continue trying!

We have those special moments when we can't get enough of each other at all and it's like we're back in our teenage years and just fell in love with one another. That's what I love about us. No matter how much time we spend together, there are still plenty of moments where we experience new things about each other and new things about our marriage. There have also been lots of times when I fell in love with you all over again. Either you just said something or once again entered a room in your true beauty, or perhaps you just sat there and looked breathtaking. No matter what, you're my dream come true and I know my dream will go on until the last rose dies.

I am so much in love with you that at times everything else around us seems unnecessary. You are all I need and you are all I want. This is me wanting you to know that my love for you is definite and true and I'll love you endlessly!

Here's to another twenty years. Let us move on to our silver wedding anniversary, before we go to our gold and then to our diamond one. We are meant to be together. We are meant to last forever.

To infinity and beyond.

Happy Anniversary, Baby.

With eternal love,
Your husband
Simon

Aries

A masculine positive cardinal fire sign,
Hot and fiery, always likes to shine.
Lustful and sensual,
Passionate and physical.
Sometimes selfish,
But most of the time expressive.
Now and then possessive,
But ALL THE TIME protective! Pin It

Journey

Lonely and alone
Surrounded by green
In a forbidden zone
What a beautiful scene

The wind is blowing
Wraps me in cold
I'm slowly growing
Lo and behold

Out of control
Tattered and torn
In search for my goal
Before I am reborn Pin It

To Believe or Not To Believe

Believing is a big part of life. When growing up you mostly follow the beliefs of your parents, but as you grow older you start to develop your own beliefs. Believing in something is important for most people and differs in the religion you have. As far as I know, God is the one most of the population believe in, but certainly not the only one. Nowadays, New Age comes up in conversations even more than it did back in the days. If I'm not mistaken, it's its own class and doesn't have a holy text unlike most formal religions. It's a mind-body-soul spirituality where people with the same beliefs get together. It is believed that things like healing with only your hands and mind is absolutely possible and unlike any other religion, there's no actual believing in a "Being" (like God, Buddha…etc.)

I grew up in a family filled with non-believers, and even now, I've never believed in God. I went through events like a confirmation and had to attend religious classes in school, but I just couldn't get myself to believe in God. As years passed and tragic events happened, I lost faith in believing at all. I've heard sayings about God, that there's a reason for everything He does, but being filled with pain and confusion, I just couldn't understand why He would take loved ones away from us. Going through life filled with tragic and unfair events showed me even more that something like God just couldn't exist. At least not in my mind.

So here I am, trying to put a post together about something I don't really believe in, but feeling the need of having to do it anyway. I feel that there's something higher than us. Something that watches over us and protects us from bad things. Thinking about all the things that have happened in the world and are still happening, there just has to be a higher being. Some things just don't make any sense at all and to find an actual answer to all those questions is just too hard. So I feel it, but do I actually believe in it? I don't know.

A few days ago, I've asked myself the question of whether or not life would be easier if I'd actually believe in something. Would life so far had turned out different if I'd believed in God? Or believed in anything at all? Would I be a different person if that would be the case? But then I realized something. I thought about it hard and long and came to the conclusion that I indeed believe in something higher. Something that's above us and - I like to think so - protects us from the bad. I found something, something that might be the answer to my question.

Who said that believing in something has to be religious? Who said that the only beliefs you can have are the believing in God etc.? I know for a lot of religious people, that's exactly the case. But what about the spiritual folk? Aren't the things they believe in emotional? Like Love and Astrology? Crystals and Tarot Cards? If I'm not mistaken, that's exactly what it is. I'm not sure if I believe in the telling of the future by astrology, crystals and tarot cards, but I can definitely say that I do believe in love. The moment you are born you receive the love of your mother. Then your father and the entire family come into picture. You receive all their love and you didn't even do anything to get it all. You've only seen this world for a few minutes, but you're already overflowed by it. The receiving continues as you grow older, and by the time you can make decisions for yourself, you start giving love. So if we think about this for a second, love accompanies you throughout your entire life, so isn't the belief in love (which is something spiritual) equal to the belief in a God? (religious).

A lot of questions I might never get an answer to, but I'll definitely keep an open mind when going through life, because you never know when something comes your way that makes you feel 'free'! Pin It

I know that you'll heal

You feel like life's stabbing you in the back,
and all the visions you've seen have turned black.

You feel lonely and just want to cry,
because everything is just passing by.

Right now you don't feel like doing much at all,
and in this big world you feel so small.

What is the reason? What is the deal?
It can not be right, it's all so surreal.

The way you are treated, it's simply unfair,
body, mind and soul feel like they tear.

You've done so much with nothing in return,
Soon it'll be no longer your concern.

Imagine the future and see what is there,
there won't be time for sadness to spare

We will be happy and we will have fun,
we'll have adventures and then some more, Hun.

A huge home, a big garden it'll hold,
a new chapter in our story will be told

A jacuzzi and a big pool to swim,
our green grass will have a very nice trim.

One huge room with lots of books to fill,
Where we can read, have a drink and just chill.

In the night I can fire up the grill,
while looking up at the sand covered hill.

But today we live in the here and now,
Where nothing really fills us with a wow.

It will change, but I'm always here for you,
And with everything I'll help you through.

I can't pretend to know how you feel,
but as long as I'm here I know that you'll heal.

Happy Birthday, Princess

It was a sunny day when you were born,
probably the reason why you love corn.

Your birthday's in spring when gardening starts,
when you grow fruits to make pineapple tarts.

A bomb you are in the kitchen as well,
where you cook things that make my belly swell.

You're more beautiful than you ever were,
let's have a drink so bring out the liquor.

So you can see there's nothing you can't do,
which explains why I'm keep falling for you.

I hope you will have a beautiful day,
with love from your hubby who's gone insane. Pin It

All I've Ever Wanted To Be

He was there right by my side
He held my hand, was full of pride
He looked at me, his first born son
And that is how my life begun

From birth on he was always there
Looked out for me, made sure he cared
He showed me things I'd never seen
And took me places I'd never been

I'll never forget the adventures we had
And all the interesting things we'd said
Our days were filled with laughter and fun
And lots of picnics under the sun

In summer we went to beaches in spain
Times spent there sure were anything but lame
And skiing in the mountains in winter for days
Was something that made us go out of our ways

And still after all those many years
After bad choices and lots of fears
Time passed by and I became a man
But he was still there to tell me that I can

He is there through thick and thin
And I can always count on him
No matter what, he's there for me
He's all I've ever wanted to be

Thank you Dad, for all that you've done
Believe me, I'm proud to be your son
I've never told you, but it's true
I know you love me, I love you too Pin It

Life Ain't Easy

Sometimes in life things just don't go right
People are changing and you lose your light
Everything around you seems to break apart
And that's how it feels deep down in your heart

You start questioning all hat has been
And tears start blurring everything you've seen
Feeling unsure with how your life goes on
Wondering where you will get your strength from

The thing called life is as hard as it can be
We meet different people but nothing's for free
But to truly feel broken, nothing comes close
For the once we love can hurt us the most

Nobody's perfect; that's just how it is
We are only humans, always remember this
We learn from life and life learns from us
There's nobody out there but yourself to impress

Never forget it could always be worse
Take two steps back and start to observe
True friends are always there by your side
But what is worth fighting for only you can decide Pin It

Good Meets Evil

Anger rising from deep inside of him
Everything's changing; head, blood and limb
Full of temper and full of hate
Damage is done, now it's too late

Her looks are filled with sadness and fear
Screaming and yelling is all she can hear
Like something good that turns into bad
She closes her eyes, it makes her so sad

The time passes slowly while she counts to ten
She wants him to stop, wants the noise to end
Not noticing the rage she sees in his eyes
Wondering if that man is nothing but lies

Into a monster he turns when he's mad
"I'm not gonna live with that" she'd once said
Anger management is what he needs
Before both their hearts forever bleed

Anger rising from deep inside of me
Changing into something I don't want to be
Full of temper and full of hate
Let's work on it before it's too late Pin It

Be Who You Are...

Taking a look back at old pictures and memories I've noticed how much we've all changed in the past few years. It's a scary concept when you really think about it. We all used to talk about never wanting to grow up and wanting to be kids forever. Things change and it's those changes in our lives that help us shape who we are as adults. Sometimes you can't help but wish you were that kid once again, living life without a care, goofing around and being yourself, and it makes me wonder: What is going to happen to us in the future? Where will our choices take us in life? Who will be there in the end for us?

As we take charge of our lives we grow, and the adults we grow into are undetermined. Take charge of your own destiny, make yourself into the best person you can possibly be. Don't let other people's judgments and opinions take a place in determining who you are as a whole. Yes we will make mistakes, yes we will fall, but in the end we will always pick ourselves back up and keep moving forward.

“Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” - Walt Disney

As for myself, I'm going to keep moving forward and not let my past mistakes ruin the bright future I have ahead of me. Yes I've screwed up one too many times but that will not hinder my efforts. I am whoever I wish to be, whether that be what the world wants or not. I will always be myself no matter what. I am who I chose to be! Pin It

Christmas Songs

Don't you hate it when you're looking for something online and you have to go to a thousand different places to look for it? Well I sure do, and that's why I've made this post here with some of the most famous Christmas songs. Enjoy and keep on singing...

Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow, in a one-horse open sleigh
Over the fields we go, laughing all the way
Bells on bob-tail ring, making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh

A day or two ago, I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright, was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank, misfortune seemed his lot
He got into a drifted bank and we got upsot

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh

A day or two ago, the story I must tell
I went out on the snow, and on my back I fell
A gent was riding by, in a one-horse open sleigh
He laughed as there I sprawling lie but quickly drove away

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh

Now the ground is white, go it while you're young
Take the girls tonight, and sing this sleighing song
Just get a bob-tailed bay, two-forty as his speed
Hitch him to an open sleigh and crack! you'll take the lead

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh

Merry Little Christmas

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
From now on
Our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yule-tide gay
From now on
Our troubles will be miles away

Here we are as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more

Through the years we all will be together
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go
Take a look in the five and ten glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Toys in ev'ry store
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
On your own front door

A pair of hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots
Is the wish of Barney and Ben
Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk
Is the hope of Janice and Jen
And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go
There's a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well
The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Soon the bells will start
And the thing that will make them ring is the carol that you sing
Right within your heart

I'll Be Home For Christmas

I'm dreamin' tonight of a place I love
Even more then I usually do
And although I know it's a long road back
I promise you

I'll be home for Christmas
You can count on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents under the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light beams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams

Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light beams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
If only in my dreams

We Wish You A Merry Christmas

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year

Oh, bring us a figgy pudding
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer
We won't go until we get some
We won't go until we get some
We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Deck The Halls

Deck the halls with boughs of holly
Fa la la la la, la la la la
Tis the season to be jolly
Fa la la la la, la la la la

Don we now our gay apparel
Fa la la, la la la, la la la
Troll the ancient Yule tide carol
Fa la la la la, la la la la

See the blazing Yule before us
Fa la la la la, la la la la
Strike the harp and join the chorus
Fa la la la la, la la la la

Follow me in merry measure
Fa la la la la, la la la la
While I tell of Yule tide treasure
Fa la la la la, la la la la

Fast away the old year passes
Fa la la la la, la la la la
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses
Fa la la la la, la la la la

Sing we joyous, all together
Fa la la la la, la la la la
Heedless of the wind and weather
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing alleluia
Christ the Savior, is born
Christ the Savior, is born

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth

The First Noel

The First Noel, the Angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel

And by the light of that same star
Three Wise men came from country far
To seek for a King was their intent
And to follow the star wherever it went
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel

This star drew nigh to the northwest
O'er Bethlehem it took its rest
And there it did both Pause and stay
Right o'er the place where Jesus lay
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel

Then entered in those Wise men three
Full reverently upon their knee
And offered there in His presence
Their gold and myrrh and frankincense
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel

Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made Heaven and earth of nought
And with his blood mankind has bought
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

It's the most wonderful time of the year
With the kids jingle-belling
And everyone telling you
Be of good cheer
It's the most wonderful time of the year

It's the hap-happiest season of all
With those holiday greetings
And great happy meetings
When friends come to call
It's the hap-happiest season of all

There'll be parties for hosting
Marshmallows for roasting
And caroling out in the snow
There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories
Of Christmases long, long ago

It's the most wonderful time of the year
There be much mistletoe-ing
And hearts will be glowing
When loved ones are near
It's the most wonderful time of the year

Woah, there'll be parties for hosting
Marshmallows for roasting
And caroling out in the snow
There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories
Of Christmases long, long ago

It's the most wonderful time of the year
There be much mistletoe-ing
And hearts will be glowing
When loved ones are near
It's the most wonderful time
It's the most wonderful time
It's the most wonderful time of the year

Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air

What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell rock

Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin'
In the lane snow is glistenin'
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland

Gone away is the blue bird
Here to stay is the new bird
He sings a love song as we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland

In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is parson brown
He'll say, "Are you married?" We'll say, "No, man
But you can do the job when you're in town"

Later on we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid, the plans that we've made
Walking in a winter wonderland

Later on we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid, the plans that we've made
Walking in a winter wonderland

We'll go walking in a winter wonderland
Walking in a winter wonderland
Walking in a winter wonderland, hand in hand
We'll go walking, walking in a winter wonderland
In a winter wonderland

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

Oh! You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list
He's checking it twice
He's gonna find out
who's naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake

So...You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town.

Little tin horns
Little toy drums
Rudy-toot-toot
and rummy tum tums
Santa Claus is coming to town.

Little toy dolls
that cuddle and coo
Elephants, boats
and Kiddie cars too
Santa Claus is coming to town.

The kids in Girl and Boy Land
will have a jubilee
They're gonna build a toyland town
all around the Christmas tree

You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is comin'
Santa Claus is comin'
Santa Claus is comin'
To town

Here Comes Santa Claus

Here comes Santa Claus
Here comes Santa Claus
Right down Santa Claus Lane
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
Pullin' on the reins
Bells are ringin', children singin'
All is merry and bright
So hang your stockings and say your prayers
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight

Here comes Santa Claus
Here comes Santa Claus
Right down Santa Claus Lane
He's got a bag that's filled with toys
For boys and girls again
Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle
Oh what a beautiful sight
So jump in bed, and cover your head
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight

Here comes Santa Claus
Here comes Santa Claus
Right down Santa Claus Lane
He'll come around when chimes ring out
It's Christmas time again
Peace on earth will come to all
If we just follow the light
So let's give thanks to the Lord above
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight

Here comes Santa Claus
Here comes Santa Claus
Right down Santa Claus Lane
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
Pullin' on the reins
Bells are ringin', children singin'
All is merry and bright
So jump in bed, and cover your head
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight

Peace on earth will come to all
If we just follow the light
So let's give thanks to the Lord above
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight
So let's give thanks to the Lord above
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight

O Holy Night

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth
The thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
Oh, hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night, O night divine

The thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
Oh, hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night, O night divine
O holy night

Rocking Around The Christmas Tree

Rocking around the Christmas Tree
at the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see
Ev'ry couple tries to stop

You will get a sentimental feeling When you hear voices singing
"Let's be jolly; Deck the halls with boughs of holly" Rocking around the Christmas Tree
Have a happy holiday
Everyone's dancing merrily
In a new old fashioned way

Rocking around the Christmas Tree
Let the Christmas Spirit ring
Later we'll have some pumpkin pie
and we'll do some caroling

You will get a sentimental feeling When you hear voices singing
"Let's be jolly; Deck the halls with boughs of holly"
Rocking around the Christmas Tree
Have a happy holiday
Everyone's dancing merrily
In a new old fashioned way

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw him
you would even say it glows

All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
you'll go down in history

Sleigh Ride

Just hear those sleigh bells jingle-ing
Ring ting tingle-ing too
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you

Outside the snow is falling
And friends are calling "You Hoo"
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you

Giddy-yap giddy-yap giddy-yap let's go
Let's look at the snow
We're riding in a wonderland of snow
Giddy-yap giddy-yap giddy-yap it's grand
Just holding your hand
We're gliding along with the song of a wintry fairy land

Our cheeks are nice and rosy and comfy cozy are we
We're snuggled up together like two birds of a feather would be
Let's take the road before us and sing a chorus or two
Come on, it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you

There's a birthday party at the home of Farmer Gray
It'll be the perfect ending of a perfect day
We'll be singing the songs we love to sing without a single stop
At the fireplace while we watch the chestnuts pop
Pop! Pop! Pop!

There's a happy feeling nothing in the world can buy
When they pass around the coffee and the pumpkin pie
It'll nearly be like a picture print by Currier and Ives
These wonderful things are the things we remember all through our lives

Let It Snow

Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

It doesn't show signs of stopping
And I brought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

When we finally say good night
How I hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm

The fire is slowly dying
My dear, we're still goodbying
As long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

You Define Love

I've experienced both love and what I thought was love, and found pain and hurt. The real definition of love is Kelly, who's given me everything and more. The time we share with one another is breathtaking. I feel safe in her arms, she embraces me; touching every bone in my body as it tingles to the touch of her warm flesh. Her presence lingers in my mind when she isn't physically with me, always on my mind, and in my heart. She cares for me, the way no one can and ever will. Our time spent with each other is blissful. The sound of her voice lets me know that I am safe from all danger. Her lips - oh, how sweet! The laughter we share is like no other. All is serene.

My problems, which she has not caused, are but small deteriorating objects that escape my mind when she comforts me. She respects me, not just as a husband, but as a person and a man. She is always honest with me, giving me advice which helps me in becoming a better person.

She brings out the best in me, the Simon who has been shut away from his feelings, worrying too much about the well being of others rather than himself, neglecting what means the most. Our relationship could not, and would not survive without forgiveness. The relationship we share is like no other. She looks out for my best interests. Helping each day with the patience I need with others. If I fall, she is right by my side to lift me up.

She is perfect in every way, shape, and form. Happiness describes every moment we share. We've gone beyond our limits, surpassing each other's barriers. What we have may become stale at times but will re-make and once again be fresh.

When I am in pain she is my remedy. She replenishes the holes made by others in my heart, mending them with her thoughtfulness, kindness, and well-being. She quenches my thirst, whatever it may be. She serenades me as if I were a king in a royal family. Oh, how I cherish her. We were once strangers, but have become the love of one another's lives.

Thank you, Kelly. Thank you for everything you've done and for everything you're still doing - It means the world to me. Pin It

The Christmas Spirit

Snowflakes falling on the ground
Listen to that beautiful sound
While you walk along the way
Notice the track of Santa's sleigh

Gifts, lights and a Christmas tree
Is what in every house you see
The stockings full, the kids asleep
While Santa around the corner sneaks

Reindeer and a big bag of gifts
The man in red through the night he lifts
When he flies away the bells you hear
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Pin It

A Winter Fantasy

Snow flakes falling from above
Let you feel the winter's love
Everything around is white
Shining in the moon so bright

Chase the flakes with a windy blow
Wave them where they always go
Deep in wooded forest hollow
Where the trees forget their sorrow

I like to walk on fresh fallen snow
It sings a song as I walk along
Snowflakes tumble to the ground
As they fall without a sound

Let's enjoy that winter scene
Something you have never seen
Untouched snow, can't you see
A beautiful image, a winter fantasy Pin It

The Secret World Of Santa Claus

Wow... how this brings me back into my childhood. The Secret World of Santa Claus is an animated TV show (my favorite to be exact) which I've been watching every year starting in December when I was younger. It's been re-runs for the last, probably at least ten years, but I can never get tired of those. I've never seen it air here in the USA, but I finally found it in English and even found out that you can order them on DVD. Man, I really need some kids, so stuff like this doesn't sound too childish and I actually have a reason to get excited about it. Oh well... anyway, here's a small preview from it and I really do recommend this to everyone who has children or - and that would be my case - just absolutely loves Christmas!

Undying Devotion

Before you came into my life, I had given up on ever finding my soul mate; the one person who could set my heart on fire with just one look. I thought that was the stuff of silly, dime store romance novels. At first you were just another face in the crowd - just another somebody passing aimlessly by, until that fateful day when my eyes laid upon your beautiful face. It was like a ray of sunshine peaking through a cloudy sky. It doesn't take a genius to work out how much I love you, but it takes a very clever person to work out why. You are the gentle breeze in my world of chaos, the calming presence that tells all to be still. When I'm down you lift me up, when I'm tired you spur me on. When I sleep I snuggle in the warmth of your embrace and feel safe. You are my security blanket from the everyday rigors of life. I cherish the day we met, and the love we share. I love you more with each passing day. And it eases me to know that as tomorrow approaches, that I will love you more than yesterday and tomorrow will be more than today. My love for you cannot be measured by words alone as "love" does not fully express my feelings for you. When I think of our love it reminds me of the miracles of life that only something higher can produce. Like the beautiful sunsets and sounds of Mother Nature that sooth our hearts and remind us of something bigger than we can imagine, where two hearts can intertwine and become one. Like two birds in love that fly in harmony and appear to dance with grace and the innocence of a child. You and only you have given me so much hope and have made me realize the true meaning in life. The true meaning of how a man should treat a woman and the true wonders of why we're here. Baby, please accept my heart as your own and listen to the rhythm of two hearts beating as one. This is my will and my reason to live, for without you I would crumble to dust. I now know that dreams of that one true soul mate are truly real and until now were only a fairy tale. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to realize that not only is there a higher being, but it works in so many ways. Pin It

Friendship

Something so unique. A bond far stronger than we could imagine for it can bear any pain, face any hurdle and still remain as strong as the first day it was built between two people. True friendship is rare to find, but those tho find it are the luckiest of all. Friends know how to make a bad day seem perfectly good. They know how to forgive when one fails to see the truth. They know how to give, know how to care and how to be there when you need them. Friendship is something which makes everything seem much easier, because if you have one near you, you wouldn't mind swimming through the void. Because you know wherever it may carry you, you have someone you can rely on and trust. Life is a hard battle but having a true friend near you makes the journey seem much easier, knowing someone is there with whom you can share your darkest secrets, your stupid dreams and your fears and hopes. Someone who will scold you and show you what's right. Someone who wouldn't budge from your side when a storm hits. Life is sometimes boring, so you need a friend to spice things up, and having a true friend beside you will help you find the missing ingredients in your life. Pin It

Ready Or Not - The Christmas Season Is Almost Upon Us

The time is almost here again, where everything is possible and everyone is filled with that Christmas spirit. Well I don't know about you all out there, but I certainly can feel it already. I went shopping for some outdoor Christmas decorations in the beginning of November and it couldn't have been too early for me. Christmas movies are already recording on our DVR and cinnamon candles have been lit also. Perhaps we'll be able to get a train for around the tree. I've always wanted one, but never actually gotten one. Also, having a collection of all those Christmas houses you can buy at the stores and build your own little town is something I hope to have in the future. I'd even build something just for Christmas to put it on. I also hope that we somehow can manage to go up north to Frankenmuth, the Christmas town of Michigan. I know it's about 2 hours away, but since it's the last Christmas we're going to spend in Michigan, I hope it'll happen. I sure would love to visit Bronner's - The World's Largest Christmas Store (www.bronners.com)

The huge tree in front of our house is almost naked and our front and backyard has been covered with leaves. Oh how I love this time of year - The days our longer, the temperatures are colder and we're even expecting the first snow of the season this week. As soon as Thanksgiving's passed, we'll be decorating the inside and outside of the house and of course we're going to buy a Christmas tree. I know it's not hard to see how excited I am about the upcoming season, but that's just me - always has been, always will be.

I'm actually quite a bit sad that we won't be having a Thanksgiving dinner over at my mom in law's house. She's been hospitalized again, about the 5th time in four months, and she's currently in a nursing home. Going to the hospital so many times for the exact same thing and they don't take care of it just doesn't make sense to me. I guess I'd have to be a doctor to understand, but it bothers me. It's not only stressful for her, but for us too. I hope she's feeling better soon and that she can finally put all that stuff behind her. Anyway, even though Thanksgiving is quite a busy holiday over at the Lester home, I enjoy it. So this year we'll be having our own little Thanksgiving dinner, which I'm looking forward to as well.

I have so many things in my life to be thankful for and lots of people don't even know that. Just the other week I finally sent my dad a package with a letter. I took the time to tell him how much I love him and how much I appreciate everything he does. I can always count on him and know that he'd help me if I needed his help. I wanted to tell him all that, because you never know how much time you have left with a person you love. It could all change in a second and I wanted him to know how I feel.

Every day I wake up, seeing my wife and realizing how thankful I am to have found her, to have the chance to love her and spend my life with her. I couldn't have wished for a better woman by my side and even though I make sure to tell her that I love her all the time, I don't think she actually knows how thankful I really am. But how could I ever let her know anyway? In all that time I've been with her, I haven't gotten close to explaining what I feel for her. Believe me, I've searched for ways that would truly let her know, but there's no way my feelings for her could be explained. At least not as of 2010. Maybe one day in the future, when technology's even better than now, I'll be able to explain.

I'm also thankful a lot for my sister in law. She's done so much for me since I know her and she's been a wonderful friend to me. Being there for one another is just as important to her as it is to me. I wish for her that she'd be taking things slow and calm down. Running around all the time just isn't healthy and if she continues doing that, it'll break her. But what am I saying anyway, we'll be moving back to Arizona next year, and everything will change then.

I'm thankful for everyone who's in my life and everyone who's been in my life. Many people have touched my life, but once a friendship is over there usually isn't a way back, because people have been hurt. I've had a lot of different friends in my life but no matter how much they meant to me, they vanished anyway. I've always said that I choose quality over quantity, but I've come to realize that I can't depend on that either. The people I really need and know will never leave me are by my side, and that's all I need!

How much I love you, you'll never know

The snow falls gently on a winter's night
But inside by the fire I hold you tight
As the burning flames start to dance
My thoughts of you turn to romance
In the light of the evening fire's glow
How much I love you, you'll never know

Though it's cold outside, it's warm in here
And the one I love I'm holding near
Snow may fall but I don't mind the weather
As long as you and I can be together
The night is young and we've nowhere to go
How much I love you, you'll never know

We don't care about the winter storm
Nestled with you, it's cozy and warm
The storm may rage and the snow come down
But as long as I've you to wrap my arms around
The snow can fall and the four winds blow
How much I love you, you'll never know

Later on we'll retire to our room
Hoping to relieve our winter gloom
Replacing the cold with our own little fire
Of being with you I can never tire
But as much as I set your passions aglow
How much I love you, you'll never know Pin It

I'm Proud It's You

Looking back on the time we shared
Nothing else in my life has compared
Joined together hand in hand
Part of some much larger plan
You have brought to my world such sheer delight
Making my time on earth so sunny and bright
I am so thankful for the time we spend
Time together I know will never end
From the first time I saw your face
I knew you were my saving grace
Like a drowning man who’s been thrown a rope
You’ve provided me such unending hope
Casting my loneliness to the side
Never once breaking your stride
Like a gift from Heaven above
I’m so thankful for your love
A true love that will never fade
I’m thankful for the love we made
All the times we held each other tight
Making love with all our might
A special dance between the covers
That could only be done by true lovers
Thankful I have you to hug and hold
Thankful for the passion you let unfold
I'm sure this time with you will never end
For it is time spent with my best friend
So thankful for the joy you bring
Symbolized by a wedding ring
I know the best is yet to come
Though we are two, we think as one
For no matter what the future may bring
I am proud it is you who wears my ring Pin It
