I take a step back, start to exam.
Every day I stay on track,
Knowing there's no turning back.
For too long I've lived a lie,
That was it, I'm saying goodbye.
I'm focused on the fighting,
Getting healthy is exciting.
My body feeling sore,
Changing how I looked before.
I'm ready for all of this,
Knowing not a pound I'll miss.
Working out every single day,
Going out of my own way.
Being breathless for a change,
Sometimes still feels kind of strange.
I'm motivated like never before,
In my life I've opened a new door.
I love to be covered in sweat,
And the new people I've met.
Pushing myself to the top,
And not letting myself drop.
But even if I should fall,
I'll get back up, I won't stall
So here is to a new start,
To living free and choosing smart.
Always remember that you CAN,
By following a simple plan.
The journey to a healthier me, That's where I'm meant to be.
