3rd Anniversary Letter

Have you ever caught yourself wanting to be someone else? Maybe someone who has enough money so you wouldn't have to worry about paying your bills? Or maybe even someone who you thought looked better than you do? Well, I myself have had those wishes. I wanted to be someone else just to escape from what I had, or what I didn't have.

I often asked myself, what if I was a different person would my life be any better? Or what if I would have more money or a better job, would I be happier? In that moment I thought the answer was 'yes'. If I had more money and could pay bills on time I wouldn't have to worry about late fees, or even that they shut it down. I wouldn't have to turn around every penny while going grocery shopping. But then after that moment I came back to reality. I came back to what I actually had and just took it the way it was.

All this changed when I met you, my princess. I still caught myself thinking things like; What if I was a different person and would have met you in America? What if I'd have enough money to buy you everything you wanted? What if...? All this stopped after a while, though, cause I came back to the same answer every time; If I was a different person I wouldn't have you. I wouldn't have what we share, and I probably would have never met you. Now and then I still wish that I'd have a lot of money, so I could buy you everything you want. Not being able to buy you something, whether it's a new car or just some milk still makes me very said. After a while, though, I never found myself wishing I was somebody else anymore.

You changed my whole life, baby. I knew the moment you entered the chat room on foolmoon that you were someone special. You cast a spell over me,starting with your nickname, and when you started talking I thought that you were the cutest person ever.

You just have it all! You are very sexy, not just in a physical way but also mental. I love the fact that you are intelligent, which is another reason I got drawn to you. You are beautiful, inside and outside and you fight for what you stand for. You have your own opinions and you tell them, no matter what. You have your dreams, and you don't even know how proud I am of you. I adore you with every single beat of my heart and I'm going to support you in everything you want to do.

We've been together for three years now and we both know it wasn't always easy. We've had up and downs in our relationship but our love was strong enough to put us through all that. I've never felt so confident in my life as I feel about our love and I can't wait for all the other things life has waiting for us. I am so sure about our love, you and our marriage that I know we will make it through anything.

From the bottom of my heart, with every fabric of my being and with more love than I've ever had for somebody do I promise you to always be here for you, to support you in everything that may come and to listen to what you have to say. Whether you just want to have a hug or you need my shoulder to cry on, I will be here. If you need a hand to lead your way, I will be here to do so. The Colder, Darker&Longer Days Of The Year!

Only 51 more days until Christmas, and it seems that I'm very excited about the upcoming season this year. I always got excited when Christmas - or better say - December was around the corner, but this year I just can't wait. It might have to do with the new house. We now live in a very friendly neighborhood which was decorated around Halloween as well. I'm pretty sure it'll look even more nice around Christmas. I really want to decorate our house too. I mean I know we're gonna do that in the inside, but hopefully outside as well. I'm not really excited about getting gifts. Having a big Christmas tree, decorated nicely and a lot of gifts under it, not for me but from me, would make a great Holiday. And of course the matchable music to it just makes it perfect. Entering the house, smelling homemade cookies or just cinnamon candles is a part of the Christmas Season too. I would also like to go to a Christmas market. Smelling whatever is in the air, cookies, snow or just Christmas itself. Something you just have to experience.

I can't wait for the snow to come, also when we are in the 70's again today, I hope it'll come soon. Waking up in the morning, looking out the window, seeing how snowflakes dance their way down to the ground. Building up with every second, melting together to a beautiful white landscape. And of course I hope we'll get a lot of snow.

All that excitement usually started around the beginning of December, but this year it started before Halloween. Can't wait for Black Friday either. Standing in the cold for hours, just to get stuff in the store on sale. Actually crazy, but a great experience!

So let the winter come and let all the excitement begin!

Memories

One and a half years ago, everything was different to now. We lived in different countries, trying to live through our days without breaking apart. A voice on the phone and a face on a cold computer screen was the only thing we had from each other, besides the everlasting love that connected us. Waking up in the morning, looking to the right and there she was. I've never seen anyone being so beautiful in her sleep. She was laying there, the blanket up to her chin, being in a dream world while her eyelids were moving. I remember watching her for hours until she woke up. Since we had the time difference of 9 hours, I often stayed up until the morning, so I could spend as much time with her as possible. Days past without turning off our laptops . Days when we saw each other through cam 24/7. We were more than thankful for those days, because being a part from each other just made it worse.

Tuesday March 29th, 2007 was like most of our days. I woke up and waited in front of the computer for her to wake up. Sometimes the hours were longer, sometimes shorter, but when she finally woke up, I took the cutest pictures I've ever seen.

The pictures are a bit blurry, and you might not exactly see what I see, but to me, these two pictures mean the world to me; the way she looks at me like nobody before always puts a smile on my face and every time I see the pictures, it brings back memories. Memories of sadness, Memories of happiness and Memories of being in love with somebody like never before. But mostly it shows me how much she loves me and that we have memories like nobody ever before.

Me and my wife wrote this poem together. I started off with the first stanza, my wife wrote the next and so on and on...

Halloween

It is only one day in October, but like Christmas, it affects the whole month. I do actually get excited about Halloween, excited about carving pumpkins, excited about all the scary and spooky movies running on television and just excited in all, because the first decoration in the year begins.

We've been carving some pumpkins again, really big ones. Oh my was I excited when I went to the car and saw all those big pumpkins in the trunk. Oh my...oh my...oh my. This year we wanted to have some scary and spooky ones, so we surfed the net and found some cool patterns on www.jack-o-lantern.com

After printing the templates the fun began and the end product looked like that!

1st Anniversary Letter

One year full of love, smiles, tears and patience past and I want to say thank you. Thank you for all the beautiful smiles you brought to my face and the amazing thoughts you gave me all day and all night long. The connection we got from the very first moment is something I never expected. To be that close to each other also when thousand of miles were between us. The strong feelings deep into our souls and the tenderness brought us closer together than we ever thought. The way you love me is just indescribable with words and so do I love you. In our lives will I give you what you want, what you need and what you deserve. I wanna make you as happy as you make me.

To be next to you, to feel, touch and smell you, is the best thing in the entire universe and I never want to miss just one second of it. You, my princess, are all I was looking for and all I ever wanted. You managed it that I became a better man, a man who loves you more than anything in the world. You showed me what's wrong and what's right and made me what I am today. Through days and nights were you on my mind, gave me energy and protected me from nightmares in the night.
